NATIONAL HARBOR, MD.— Seeking to capitalize on the increasing popularity of soft fibers,
CCA Global Partners at the recent
Flooring America and
Carpet One conventions here announced the launch of Tigressa, an exclusive deal with
Shaw Industries which CCA is calling a fiber breakthrough.
Charlie Dilks, chief product officer, noted the launch is all about being proactive. “In 12 to 18 months, soft nylon will be huge. We saw opportunity. We knew by reacting now we would have a dominant position in the marketplace.”
According to Randy Upson, vice president of merchandising, Flooring America, CCA has some exclusive features, benefits and technology it is leveraging as part of its partnership with Shaw.
Tigressa launches in 24 styles from saxonies to casual loops. It will have its own merchandising unit with 20 pins on the front and eight on the back.
