COMMACK, N.Y.—CBC America has become the exclusive source of Indelval rubber flooring for North America. CBC Group, the 89-year old company headquartered in Tokyo, has operated in the U.S. since 1960.
“We bring our years of expertise in the rubber flooring market to contractors, architects and designers in the U.S.,” said Omar Rivarola, president of Indelval, founded 40 years ago in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Indelval comes in 18 product lines with up to 30% natural rubber content, said Chip Braulick, CBC’s senior marketing manager. Products are also free of formaldehydes, asbestos and other harmful materials.
“There are limited offerings of rubber sheet flooring in the U.S.,” said Jeff Collum, CBC’s director of flooring. “We’re positioned to meet that demand.”
The sheet rubber offers both homogenous and double-backing constructions for sanitary solutions in laboratories, clinics and hospitals; conductive floorings for places that need static electric control; transport flooring for buses and trains, and sports flooring with glueless interlocking options.
“With over 1,000 possible combinations of standard constructions, finishes and colors, the product offering will appeal to specifiers focused in any market segment,” Braulick added.
Indelval flooring has been third-party certified and meets California’s 01350, and also contributes to several credits in the popular Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
