ATLANTA—Surfaces is more than just about visiting exhibitors. The industry’s largest market includes an educational conference starting the day before the show floor opens. As part of the conference, Wools of New Zealand (WONZ) is sponsoring a couple of accredited seminars.

The conference starts Feb. 1 with a series of three-hour, hands-on courses. WONZ is sponsoring Deborah Burnett, a health and wellness design authority, for one of these.

Then, on Feb. 4 at 8 a.m., the final day of Surfaces, Wes Connelly and Joanna Ramsden, WONZ’ technical consultant and creative manager, respectively, are presenting a “Wool Education & Color Trends” seminar.
