DEERFIELD BEACH, FLA.—Supplier Flooring Resources Corp. of Elk Grove, Ill., purchaser of the largest amount of Mapei adhesives between May 1 and July 31, won an “Easy Pass to the Track,” courtesy of the glue supplier. On Oct. 2, two employees from Flooring Resources and two employees from its Mapei distributor, Carpet Cushion & Supplies in Naperville, Ill., attended the NASCAR Spring Cup Series race in Kansas City, Kan.

The day was a personally tailored experience with the Robby Gordon Motorsports (RGM) team and the man, himself. Included was a full tour of the RGM operation, lunch with the driver, a personal autograph session, “hot pit” passes for the race and a photo op with Gordon and his race car.

“We used Mapei products on important projects this year, including the Trump Tower and the Willis [Sears] Tower,” said Flooring Resources’ Nick Krueger. “It’s about teamwork—Mapei and RGM are a great team, and Flooring Resources and Mapei are also a great team. We worked hard and winning the Mapei contest was a great reward for us.”
