MEMPHIS, TENN.—Racquetball pros scored big in the 14th annual championship held here from Oct. 21 to 25. Televised nationally on the Tennis Channel and streamed live on racquetballonline.tv, the competition drew 600 players vying for the $65,000 first-place prize.

The championship was played on the world’s only portable racquetball court, designed specifically for television broadcasting. It features stadium seating for 2,000 spectators and Wilsonart flooring in Carolina Ash, which was chosen for its wood look and performance benefits, said Tammy Weadock, Wilsonart marketing communications manager.

A long-time supporter of the sport, Wilsonart has supplied the event’s flooring for all 14 years. “We sponsor this tournament because it’s such a dramatic display of high pressure laminate’s tremendous performance attributes, which can stand up to this rigorous athletic test,” she said.
