Election Day in the U.S. may not be for a few weeks, but it has arrived for the flooring industry. Floor Covering News and the World Floor Covering Association have once again teamed up for the 14th Award of Excellence competition. The annual benchmark event allows mill customers the opportunity to voice their opinions on which manufacturer does the most to help them be successful.

As in the past, some changes have been made to this year’s edition. Most notably is the addition of a new category—a Special Recognition for the mill providing the most leadership in the green movement.

The official ballot is on page 19 of the print edition, but voting, which goes through Feb. 28, 2010, can also be done via floorcoveringnews.net or floorbiz.com as well as at Surfaces 2010.
