GLEN ELLYN, ILL.—The
Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA), will induct its 22nd member to its Hall of Fame during its ’09 Conference. Howard Pryor of Conestoga Tile Center in Harrisburg, Pa., will receive the award on the first day of the conference, Nov. 6, in recognition for his work in the tile industry and in the organization.
An industry figure for 25 years, Pryor has been a CTDA member for nine years, and on its board for the last five years. Most recently, he has been involved with CTDA’s Green Building Committee. Colleagues noted his “leadership on the green initiative is outstanding.”
“Howard Pryor’s commitment to the ceramic tile industry and specifically to CTDA has been and continues to be unmatched,” said Rick Church, executive director of CTDA. Church added that in addition to being a long time employee of a leading ceramic tile distributor, Pryor has served on several CTDA committees and the board of directors, worked as a subject expert during CTDA program development and launched the CTDA’s Green Building Committee. “Howard is truly a hall of famer.”
The CTDA 2009 management conference will take place Nov. 5 to 7, at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa in Tucson, Ariz.
