NEW YORK—At a luncheon held at The Water Club restaurant here, the Greater New York Floor Coverers Industry Promotional Fund announced this year’s recipients of the 25th Annual Francis J.P. McHale Scholarship Awards. Pictured from left are, Paula Murdoch of M.E. Sabosik Associates, scholarship winners Allison Haliotis and Marisa Koopman, Marty Murdock of M.E. Sabosik Associates and Dave Meberg of Consolidated Carpet. The Murdochs were the 2009 co-honorees of the Francis J.P. McHale Scholarship Award. Haliotis, who will be attending Rutgers University in the fall, and Koopman, who will attend Binghamton University, each will receive $3,500 annually for school as a result of winning the scholarships. Association president Meberg acted as the event’s master of ceremonies.
