ANN ARBOR, MICH.—NSF International, the company that helped spearhead the development of the carpet and resilient sustainability assessment standards— NSF-140 and -332, respectively— has made it easier to better understand what it takes to make a product sustainable as well as monitor a company’s performance with a new Web site, nsfsustainability.org.

Greta Houlahan, NSF’s communications manager, said the site was developed “to better support and educate the industry on sustainability.” Visitors will find information on product assessment, process verification and new standards, as well as sustainable business solutions.

NSF has also expanded its sustainability offerings to help companies monitor the performance of their suppliers to environmental and labor requirements.
