DALTON—J+J/Invision has received at least a gold certification for three of its backing systems under the NSF/ANSI 140 standard for environmentally preferable carpet.

The mill’s eKo modular backing has been awarded platinum certification while all PremierBac Plus and TitanBac Plus broadloom backed carpets are gold certified.

“Being certified by NSF 140 demonstrates our commitment to sustainable product development,” David Jolly, president and COO of J+J/Invision, said. NSF 140 uses a system for performance and quantifiable metrics in public health and environment, energy and efficiency, biobased or recycled materials, manufacturing, reclamation and end of life management.
