NORTH BILLERICA, MASS.—W.J. Grosvenor & Co. (WJG) announced it has reorganized its sales department into two divisions: Supplies and Floor Covering. The floor covering division will include
Johnsonite,
Tarkett, Earthwerks and Van Gelder. The supplies division will include adhesives, floor prep, carpet cushion, tackless, tools and equipment, metal mouldings and other supplies and accessories.
Part of the restructuring is due to WJG being appointed a distributor of the Tarkett line of commercial resilient flooring.
WJG has also hired Robert Gentilucci as sales manager of the floor covering division. He comes to WJG with a long history in the floor covering business, and a steller reputation, noted Sal DeRosa, WJG’s COO. Gentilucci has been in the industry for over 25 years, starting in 1981 working with Joseph Silverman, before moving to L. Bornstein and then on to
Hoboken Floors, where he was promoted to vice president of commercial sales in 2004.
“Bob’s extensive knowledge of the Tarkett and Johnsonite lines and his experience as a manager and sales representative will be great assets to WJG,” DeRosa said.
Grosvenor also announced that Bill Samara, a 25-year WJG veteran, has been named to the newly created position of sales manager, supplies division. “One of WJG’s key employees,” DeRosa noted, “Bill started in the industry as branch manager of the Manchester, N.H., location and since then has handled every possible type account for us, from retail stores to key commercial accounts.
“His positive attitude and responsiveness to his customers have earned him a well-deserved reputation for reliability and excellent customer service,” he added. “Bill looks forward to the opportunity to grow and develop WJG’s core business in supplies and accessories.
“Bob and Bill will have separate responsibilities within WJG, but will be working together as a team to provide WJG customers with top-shelf service,” continued DeRosa. “Greg Fonzi will also continue to service many of WJG’s key accounts. He has over 20 years of experience in the industry, and has been with WJG for over three years. Greg delivers pragmatic, tested solutions to his customers’ installation needs.”
