WHAT: April 22, 2009, Earth Day marks the first day to submit entries for the 2009
Zeftron nylon Sustainable Practices Award. The winner will receive a $2,000 grand prize donation in their name to an environmentally focused charity.
WHY: Through the Zeftron nylon Sustainable Practices Award, the commercial carpet fiber producer will recognize facility professionals who are taking innovative strides to create more sustainable environments at home, at work and in their community. Additionally, entrants will be given the opportunity to share their everyday environmental practices. The best entries will be compiled for Zeftron nylon’s Best Practices and Green Tips, a resource for commercial facility, architect and design professionals.
HOW: The Sustainable Practices Award is open to all facility, architect and design professionals in the continental United States. Applicants will be able to submit entries at http://spa.zeftronnylon.com, starting on April 22, Earth Day 2009. There is no cost to enter and the grand prize winner will be announced in November during Greenbuild 2009.
