LAS VEGAS— Boa-Franc, maker of Mirage prefinished hardwood floors, honored its top wholesalers for 2008 during its annual distributor dinner held here at the Wynn.

Pierre Thabet, president of Boa-Franc, said the Mirage Presidential Spirit Award recognizes the distributor that has demonstrated outstanding performance during the prior year.

The winner for 2008 was G.R. Distributors of Canada. Along with posting the largest percentage growth increase in 2008, Thabet noted G.R.’s ongoing focus on Mirage during the year was critical to its outstanding performance.

“G.R. represents the passion based on our company philosophy and we thank them for their unremitting work during this difficult year,” he said. “They truly represent the Mirage spirit that drives our company into success.”

Ghislain Richard, G.R.’s principal, credited the company’s success to “working hard and smart.” He also pointed to the mill’s support, noting, “We have always been able to count on Mirage’s support in all our initiatives.”

Richard added the manufacturer’s dedication to product quality and service are key reasons his company enjoys working with Mirage. “The strength and the quality of Mirage’s brand are a guarantee of trust and durability in this unpredictable and difficult market.”

While G.R. took Mirage’s top honor, Thabet said the mill’s entire distributor network deserves credit. “Each of them is essential to keeping Mirage as a strong brand name that provides outstanding quality products. We look forward to continuing strong relationships with our distributors in the harder environment ahead.”
