Anderson's Exotic Impressions: Is it real or is it…
Article Number: 3901

Flooring retailers can now satisfy their customers’ hunger for exotic hardwood flooring with Exotic Impressions, an intriguing new product that is as environmentally friendly as it is desirable. Using a totally new and unique manufacturing process Anderson calls PermaColor, the company is able to transform common, sustainable and renewable domestic hardwood species into exotic “look-a-likes” without adding to the world’s tropical deforestation problems.

Additionally, Anderson achieves this look without the use of chemicals, stains or solvents. The all-natural PermaColor process adjusts the natural hue and shade of the wood, allowing the grain to show through, creating an opalescent, 3D effect. Depending on how light strikes the wood, variances in shade and color create an illusion of depth.

Another feature of Exotic Impressions is that the color never wears off. Thanks to this unique THRU-COLOR process, the plank’s color runs throughout the entire wear layer.

Exotic Impressions is a 5-inch-wide, five-ply, 3/8-inch thick, engineered plank with Anderson’s exclusive Performance Edge. It is available in eight colors and three species: maple, hickory and birch.
