Bamboo Fusion’s strand woven construction is produced by a unique patented process. The Moso bamboo pole is sliced and shredded into long strands. After immersion in an environmentally friendly bonding agent the strands are fused under tremendous pressure into blocks which are cut to size, kiln-dried and processed into flooring.
Indoor air quality is an extremely important consideration in the selection of products for interior spaces. This patented technology produces virtually no VOC emissions and surpasses the criterion set by LEED (South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1113) as well as World Health Organization standards.
