Baar, Switzerland, September 2008 – Danzer Group is expanding its customer service with a new Virtual Veneer Warehouse that simplifies purchase of veneer.
Customers browsing www.danzerveneer.com can sample and choose veneer quickly and efficiently. All visitors to the website have access to part of Danzer Group’s specialties currently in stock 24 hours a day. “The Virtual Veneer Warehouse offers our customers an extensive information platform”, says Malte Herrmann, Danzer Group’s Head of Marketing. “The selection process is standardized and customized at the same time. It shortens decision times and simplifies the purchasing procedure.”
The Virtual Veneer Warehouse shows veneer logs of some of the available specialities. Choosing veneer is easier with photos of sample veneer packages and a wide range of selection tools. Veneer logs can be selected according to length, colour, structure, quantity or directly according to a specific species. Length, width and area are displayed both in American and European (metric) measurement units. Moreover, Danzer Group’s customers receive detailed information about the logs. Only products that are actually available are displayed for selection. Logs that are sold are removed from the site – so the customer can be sure that the displayed material is the actual, current and existing inventory.
High-resolution photos of all veneer packages show the wood’s exact structure. This makes shopping considerably easier – especially for architects, designers and interior decorators – when selecting products for special designs tailored to their preferences.
