DALTON—J&J/Invision’s company-wide environmental management program to minimize the mill’s environmental impact on air, water and land was recognized by the International Organization for Standardization (IS0).

J&J received ISO’s 14001 certification by formatting a process for determining and improving significant environmental impacts— adopting new processes and systems, and training associates.

David Jolly, the mill’s president and COO, said the certification is an extension of the company’s existing environmental program EnAct, which is focused on reducing, recycling, reusing and creating a healthier, more sustainable environment.

Receiving ISO’s stamp, he added, “is evidence of our ongoing commitment to the environment, and this certification is the result of the efforts of our many dedicated associates and their genuine desire to be good stewards of our natural resources.”
