FARNHAN, QUEBEC—
Tarkett announced that its residential business unit will join its commercial sister as well as the other major resilient mills in raising prices due to increased costs in raw materials and energy.
Gary Finseth, residential director of marketing, said a rate hike between 2% and 7% will take effect Aug. 1 on select resilient, including luxury vinyl tile, and laminate products.
“In order to maintain the superior performance and quality of Tarkett flooring products, we must adjust our pricing to reflect the raw material and energy cost increases that we are currently experiencing,” he explained.
