Tarkett is featuring its new products—launched in April 2008—as well as some best sellers, in the company’s Cash Card program in partnership with American Express. So far more than 4,000 sales associates are registered.
“So many sales associates have already added thousands of dollars to their income,” noted Erica Hubbard, director of marketing. “The initiative, which is designed to support loyal associates in this challenging sales environment, benefits everyone. Retailers who sell the selected collections accumulate money with each and every sale.
“For three months this summer— June, July and August— Nafco sweetens the pot, featuring Classic Slate, Valley Stone, Kyrah and Baltic Stone tiles and a plank, Urban Oak, in the Classic line as well as Bombay, Biscayne, Glaze and Tumbled Marble in the PermaStone line,” added Hubbard. Participants will get cash for selling the identified products.
They will receive $10 per carton on Classic Slate, Valley Stone, Kyrah and Baltic Stone tiles and the plank, Urban Oak, in the Classic line. They will receive $2 per carton for the others. Incentives are for retail salespeople who have registered to receive the cash rewards.
The spiffs change periodically. Participating retail associates are notified by e-mail as to what they will be. In April through May, Nafco focused on its Better Living plank patterns Lorraine/Classic Plank, Dorchester Plank, Latitudes and Hand Scraped.
Retail sales associates can spend their rewards dollars at any place that accepts American Express.
