Preferred Brands partners with Kashmoo - Offering dealer members standard configurations, discounts

BURNSVILLE, MINN.—Preferred Brands, parent company of Floor to Ceiling and World of Floors buying groups, recently signed an agreement with software provider Kashmoo to offer every new dealer as of March 1 discounts and standard configurations of Kashmoo’s flooring software. The new Preferred Brands standard configurations are also available to current group members.

Under the agreement, Kashmoo engineered exclusive forms and screen displays—including both World of Floors and Floor to Ceiling standard configurations— which will enable the group to standardize and accelerate its dealers’ training and support. There were also several features added to support Preferred Brands’ dealer-to-consumer marketing programs.

Emil Pedick, president of World of Floors, was “amazed” with Kashmoo’s speed and precision. “We tried working with several other software vendors to automate our process, but until we teamed up with Kashmoo no one was able to give us the functionality we needed—invoicing, processing, installer billing, all the way down to a thank you/referral mailer for the customer.”

Kashmoo president Tim Magnuson noted the company’s alliance with Preferred Brands “has been great” and both companies plan to continue working closely to expand the capabilities of Kashmoo for Preferred Brands dealers in the future.
