SANTA CLARA, CALIF.—S&G Carpet & More, one of the 20 largest independent flooring retailers, which started a retail alignment program last year, has reached an agreement with Tile Outlet Always in Stock to supply the national chain with hardwood and laminate flooring.

“The alliance gives Tile Outlet the ability to offer high quality, affordable hardwood and laminate products imported by S&G,” said Gregg Flint, national vice president, affiliate sales, S&G Carpet & More, “while giving us some much-needed national exposure.”

The agreement allows Tile Outlet to maintain its always-in-stock promise because S&G extensively inventories its hard surface products.

Tile Outlet has over 100 locations throughout the U.S., including five distribution centers. It plans to have East Coast distribution by the end of the year. S&G has eight corporate stores, including a distribution center in Santa Clara, Calif., as well as nine affiliate stores throughout central California.

“This agreement strengthens the S&G program,” Flint said, “with the national recognition and added purchasing ability.”
