DEERPARK, N.Y.—The Long Island Floor Covering Association (LIFCA) is moving forward by taking a trip to the past as it reincarnates its “Tool Time” convention this spring. Started in the early ‘90s, Tool Time is aimed at providing education on the latest tools of the trade and new techniques to installers and dealers alike.

The sixth convention of its kind will be held May 28 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the American Carpet Workroom, 770 Grand Ave. (between Deer Park Ave. and Commack Rd.) and feature experts from numerous manufacturers. At press time an event schedule was not yet determined.
