COLUMBUS, OHIO—The
National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) will again hold its flagship educational course, the Wholesale Distribution Manager’s Course (WDMC), for the 57th consecutive year. “Education for distributors is not just important,” said Ron Schreibman, senior vice president of Strategic Direction for NAW, “it’s crucial and necessary, especially because of today’s complex supply chains.”
Held June 9 to 13 at the Ohio State University here, this year’s WDMC will feature updated course study on an array of subjects—sales management, value-added services, market-focused planning and financial management and control— by means of classroom instruction, small group discussion and computer laboratory work all focused on a specially designed wholesale distribution case study.
What differentiates this five-day event from other educational conferences is that it is open to and attracts distributors from a variety of trades—flooring, pharmaceutical, flower, etc.
