Lancaster, Pa.—Nature Wood Flooring is the latest Chinese flooring manufacturer to set up shop in the U.S. The wood flooring mill, considered to be among the world’s largest with production facilities in China and Peru, has opened an office here and has hired Judy Grillo as general manager of its U.S. operations.

Grillo has had previous experience directing international sourcing for a U.S. manufacturer, noting, “I’ve been involved with the products and people from Nature for many years, and they are the best.” In her new position, she will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s North American business.

Savio Chow, Nature’s vice president of export, noted Nature has been supplying North American manufacturers and distributors under private label programs for several years. “This new announcement signals our intention to enter this market and build the Nature brand name as we have around the world.”
