Washington— Alloc has become the latest manufacturer to join the North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) as a regular member.

Bill Dearing, NALFA’s president, said through its membership, Alloc will help the organization “to continue to uphold laminate product performance standards and to shape the future of the laminate flooring industry in North America and internationally.”

He added that as a regular member Alloc is “entitled and encouraged” to participate in all phases of NALFA’s activities—board, technical and marketing.

The addition of Alloc means the organization currently has 11 regular members and 14 associate members. Regular members are manufacturers, marketers or importers of laminate flooring for sales in North America that subject their products to the stringent requirements of certification in compliance with the NALFA specification, while associate members consist of retailers, buying groups, retail cooperatives, retail marketing groups and wholesale distributors.
