January 11, 2007 – Geologica, the Boston-based boutique showroom owned by GranitiFiandre and
Best Tile Distributors of New England, participated in the Dining by Design charity event held on November 30 and December 1 at the Boston Design Center. Sponsored by GE Monogram and Elle Decor Magazine, the eight-city event is a key fundraiser for two organizations that help patients living with Aids and HIV—Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) and Community Research Initiative of New England (CRI).
Thirty extraordinary table environments, each with its own designer, were on display as a collaborative effort of the area’s designers, architects, showrooms, and corporate sponsors. Geologica was one of ten corporate sponsors who donated products for a large 20-person table design by Andrew Anderson of Ilex Designs. Anderson’s dining theme was an eco-friendly design, and he selected GranitiFiandre’s GeoDiamond Black 24?x 12? polished product for use as the table runner.
“I selected GeoDiamond Black for the table runner in my design because it offers a stunning polished format illuminated with jewel-like embellishments, and this exquisite product is produced in an environmentally responsible manner that worked with the overall eco-friendly design of the table,” said Anderson.
GranitiFiandre’s GeoDiamond products are part of their GeoStyle Collection that encompasses their most innovative product designs. Availability includes 24"x 24", 24"x 12", and 24"x 6" formats, along with a variety of mosaics. Colorways include Diamond White, Diamond Yellow, Diamond Orange, Diamond Red, Diamond Blue, Diamond Grey, and Diamond Black in both polished and textured formats.
