Kelly's Carpet Omaha Named Mohawk Floorscapes® Dealer Of The Year 2007

PHOENIX— Mohawk named Kelly’s Carpet Omaha as the 2007 Dealer of the Year during the Floorscapes® Convention in Phoenix Nov. 29 through Dec. 1, 2007.

Mike Hughes, President of Kelly’s Carpet Omaha, was one of eleven finalists for the Mohawk Floorscapes® Dealer of the Year Award, which recognizes exceptional work within a group comprised of the best retailing minds in the nation. The Mohawk Floorscapes® Dealer of the Year Award is based on a number of criteria, including a percentage increase over previous year’s business, excellence in promoting the store concept, ongoing commitment to training, store standards, brand building, merchandising and installation ideas and community involvement.

“Mike and his staff win and keep customers for life. They do so because they make sure every customer gets exceptional service,” said Manny Llerena, Vice President of Retail Marketing for Mohawk. Hughes believes that if he takes care of his customers, they will take care of him.

“I personally believe that people deserve what they pay for,” Hughes said. “Our customers are hard working people who want something nice. We take on a great responsibility to give that to them.”

When I go to Floorscapes® conventions, I get to speak with the Chairman of Mohawk and other executives, who take the time to talk about my business. And if I ever have an issue, it gets resolved.”
