Cumming, GA, December 7, 2007—CH Designs, Inc., an upscale rug company launched in January 2007, has opened its own retail showroom in Cumming, Georgia. President and CEO, Charles Hobgood, has staged the store much like an art gallery to showcase the brilliant colors and large-scale designs of his handcrafted, New Zealand wool rugs. “We want customers to experience the magnificent color, scale and quality of our rugs the minute they walk in the door,” says Hobgood. “Every stunning design is fully displayed and spotlighted, without the use of racks or stacks, to reveal the luxury of each unique design.”

The CH Designs, Inc. Collection I is the first series of designs created in collaboration between Charles Hobgood of CH Designs, Inc. and Circe Lucas of Circe Design. Each rug is an original, copyrighted work of art that comes with a serial number and a certificate of authenticity signed by Hobgood and Lucas. All rugs in the collection are handcrafted in China and approved to carry the Wools of New Zealand Brand. Sizes offered include 6 x 9, 8 x 10, 9 x 12, 10 x 14 and 12 x 15.

The CH in CH Designs, Inc. was recently awarded a U.S. Patent and Trademark Registration Certificate. As a registered trademark, Hobgood’s initials brand each textile design and further distinguish his work as a curator of fine art. Included in his art offering are oil paintings by Alexandra Renoir, Henrietta Milan, Cynthia Bryant and Phil Epps, along with sculptures by Jason Bood, Ed Shaw and George Ernest Vonderlinden.
