Indianapolis—Entrepreneur magazine has recognized ICC Floors, an Indianapolis-based flooring retail store and installer, as No. 144 on its 2007 Hot 500 List.

For 13 years, Entrepreneur has identified the nation’s fastest-growing companies and the entrepreneurs behind those thriving businesses. Criteria for recognition by the magazine includes minimum levels of sales growth, job growth from 2002 to 2006 and company sales exceeding $1 million last year.

Founded in 1998, ICC Floors is co-owned by Nathan Roberts and Cameron Haughey, who said the recognition by Entrepreneur was a total surprise but pretty much sums up how they go about business.

In 2006, ICC Floors had a staff of 31 and did approximately $12 million in sales. It’s projected to have sales of $13.5 million this year.
