Atlanta—Krimsa Fine Rugs & Décor, based in San Francisco, Calif., walked away from last month’s International Area Rug Market as Rug Retailer of the Year at the 14th annual Retailer of the Year (ROY) Awards, held here. The ROY Awards salute outstanding achievement among the nation’s premier area rug and home furnishings retailers.

All ROY nominees are selected by AmericasMart area rug exhibitors and voted on by an independent panel of industry experts.

Chas Sydney, senior vice president of new business development for AmericasMart Atlanta, and local radio celebrity Holly Firfer from 92.9 DAVE-FM, presented the awards on the evening of July 16. Attendees filled the Monte Carlo-themed casino night at Georgia Aquarium’s Ocean’s Ballroom to recognize and celebrate this year’s winners, which included:

Outstanding Merchandising: Jordan’s Furniture in East Taunton, Mass.
