ATLANTA, GA, August 13, 2007—J. Mish is successfully making a name for itself in the high-end residential market. In the three years since legendary designer—Jack Mishkin—founded the company, it has taken off in all directions, quickly growing beyond the walls of its initial office. Aside from the recent build of a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, J. Mish is expanding its line of wool and wool blend floor coverings while enhancing its retailer services through a new Website, rack system and promotional materials.
J. Mish moved its manufacturing plant and headquarters to a new, 70,000 square-foot facility in Cartersville, Georgia. With additional tufting equipment and full-service capabilities, J. Mish can create thousands of custom carpet and rug offerings. “We are well equipped to meet our customers’ needs with high-quality, American-made products,” says Mike Lawrence, vice president of sales for J. Mish. “Although we will always maintain a certain level of imports for diversity, we are maximizing our control of color, design, quality and value through our in-house investment.”
From the start, J. Mish has demonstrated its commitment to quality through its partnership with
Wools of New Zealand. Cutting-edge wools and wool-blend styles are offered exclusively through its Jack Mishkin Signature Collection. New to the luxurious line is Black Tie, a “not your father’s tuxedo” collection of four Wools of New Zealand Brand styles. The handsome series is patterned in bold stripes and cabled-knit looks that are fashionably dressed in black and white with tonal accents. Suggested retail for Black Tie is $9.30 – $11.00 /square foot with custom colors and area rugs available at reasonable rates.
The entire line of J. Mish Signature Collection styles, along with its most popular Prince Street House & Home offerings, can be beautifully displayed in J. Mish’s updated rack system. The unit features large, 24" x 18" sample cards, along with smaller cards for the import products. All styles are fully represented with complete color swatches, product descriptions and room scene images. Its upright, 57" high, posture is designed with respect to retailers’ floor space, occupying an area of only 10 square-feet.
J. Mish also supports its retailers with newspaper ad slicks and four-color creative in addition to an extensive Website. “We want to make it easy and profitable for retailers to sell J. Mish carpets and rugs,” explains Lawrence. “In every way, we strive to give our customers the products, custom capabilities, services, displays and marketing materials they need to be successful. And we will continue to reinforce this commitment at every level of our growth.”
