Dalton—Laminates from
Mohawk Industries have been certified to receive the
North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) seal for quality. The certification covers all
Unilin-manufactured products in Mohawk’s laminate line.
To earn NALFA certification, a laminate flooring product must pass a rigorous and demanding series of independent tests designed to evaluate its performance, durability, strength and overall quality.
“This is an important step forward for our new laminates,” said Lindsey Ann Waldrep, brand manager for wood/laminates. “Mohawk strongly supports NALFA, and certification helps support the quality and value we keep building for the Mohawk brand. This certification covers products in our line ranging from the most innovative new styles down to value leaders.”
Last year, Mohawk began a four-phase upgrade of its laminate line, introducing new products across the spectrum of price points. The Wall Street Journal recently noted the company’s tile styles looked the “most realistic” of all products evaluated in its review of laminate flooring.
