Memphis, Tenn.—Bob Haggard of Hassell and Hughes Lumber Co. in Collinwood, Tenn., has been elected this year’s president of the Wood Flooring Manufacturers Association (NOFMA). “These are interesting times for not only the wood flooring industry, but also for NOFMA,” Haggard said. “I’m looking forward to working with my fellow directors and committee chairs in helping to lead NOFMA into a bright and prosperous future.”

Tommy Maxwell, Maxwell Hardwood Flooring in Monticello, Ark., has been chosen to serve as vice president. And Timm Locke will continue as executive vice president.

Board members elected to serve through 2009 include: Bill Buchanan, Buchanan Hardwood Floors, Aliceville, Ala.; Tim Elliot, Hardwoods of Morristown, Morristown, Tenn.; and Doug McDaniel, Stuart Flooring, Stuart, Va.
