Johnson City, Tenn.—As part of a
restructuring of its management team, Harris Tarkett has promoted Dennis Hrusa
to vice president of sales, while Dave Forinash has returned to the hardwood
mill as vice president of finance. Prior to his appointment, Hrusa had been the
manufacturer’s director of commercial sales, a newly created position he
assumed in June 2001. He replaces George Celtrick, who has left the company.
“In his short tenure at Harris Tarkett, Dennis has shown the ability to sell
the value of our products to a number of key customer segments,” said Jim
Morando, the manufacturer’s president. “His highly developed understanding
of the wood flooring business will serve our company well as we continue to lead
the industry in fashion-forward products for both the residential and commercial
markets.”
Prior to joining Harris Tarkett, Hrusa had
been vice president of sales and marketing for Kentucky Wood Floors. He also has
held a number of sales and marketing positions with Congoleum, including
national manager of sales promotion, Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager,
national account region manager and director of sales and marketing.
Additionally, Forinash has returned to Harris Tarkett as vice president of
finance for the hardwood division, a post that has been vacant for several
months. Previously, Forinash had been group controller for Domco Tarkett North
America.
The hardwood division includes Harris Tarkett
and Stuart Flooring Co. “Dave’s expertise as it relates to strategic
analysis and acquisitions was sorely missed during his tenure at our parent
company,” said Morando. “We are very pleased to have him back in place as we
continue to seek ways to grow market share.” Forinash joined Harris Tarkett in
1988 as controller and CFO. He was named vice president of finance in 1990, a
position he held until September 2000 when he accepted the financial position at
the Domco Tarkett Group. Prior to joining Harris Tarkett, he was operations
