Best Tile Distributors of New England, part of the East Coast Tile family, the largest importer of ceramic tile and stone in the Northeast, celebrated the grand opening of a brand new contractor specific showroom in Woburn, Massachusetts with a day long training program sponsored by the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA).

Best Tile recently acquired five Boston Tile showrooms in the Greater Boston area, then added the new, 7,550 square foot Woburn facility to further its efforts to re-enter the commercial sector. The day long program, which was hosted by Best Tile general manager Doug Maynes and the NTCA’s director of training Gerald Sloan, featured table top displays and training session demonstrations from LATICRETE® International Inc., Blanke, ProFlex, HardiBacker, Miracle Sealants and GranitiFiandre. A grand prize drawing was held at the end of the event, with Ron Reppucci of Rolli Tile and Marble in Stoneham, MA taking home a trip for two to Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut.

Best Tile’s new contractor showroom in Woburn has been staffed with top industry professionals at key positions. Joe McGovern comes to Best Tile from United Distributors Inc., where in partnership with GranitiFiandre, he oversaw the opening of the GEOLOGICA showroom at the Boston Design Center. Jacki Adams has been brought on board as New England residential sales manager, and brings 10 years of award winning achievements to Best Tile from her time with Dal-Tile International.
