GranitiFiandre Launches Platinum Collection - Unique Iridescent Body Gives Collection a Metallic Effect

CHICAGO, January 25, 2006 – Italian stone and tile manufacturer GranitiFiandre will debut its Platinum collection at the 2007 Surfaces Show, to be held February 7-9 in Las Vegas. The Platinum collection will be on display at GranitiFiandre’s booth (#5978), along with the company’s comprehensive array of surfacing products.

GranitiFiandre’s Platinum collection is characterized by a “shapes-in-motion” aesthetic created through a succession of textured check or triangular wave patterns. Both patterns are created within a unique iridescent body that give the collection an intense, three-dimensional metallic effect.

“Inspired by the world’s fascination with platinum, GranitiFiandre’s artisans designed this collection for contemporary environments,” said Jeanne Nichols, vice president—sales and marketing for GranitiFiandre in the United States. “Platinum’s captivating aesthetic has quickly been embraced overseas, and we expect that the American marketplace will follow in suit.”

White Platinum, Black Platinum, Mauve Platinum, and Pure Platinum are available in 24"x 24" and 24"x 12" sizes with coordinating special pieces. The Platinum collection was created with advanced porcelain technologies that ensure superior values of hardness, non-absorbency, and resistance to fire, frost, wear, and chemical attack.

Platinum products are the latest addition to GranitiFiandre’s prestigious porcelain surfacing lines. In addition to launching this innovative collection, the company will also debut the New Co.de collection at Surfaces, as well as new additions to various existing lines that will specifically address the American market’s diverse architecture and design needs.
