A year ago, at Surfaces 2006, Howard Olansky was honored for his 50 years of service to the industry with a luncheon/ roast that attracted friends and colleagues from every category and on every level of the floor covering business. He would consent to the luncheon only if the proceeds were donated to the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF), an organization that assists people in our industry who are catastrophically ill or experience a life-altering hardship.

Howard was passionate about the FCIF and its mission, so it is fitting that he be remembered with a contribution in his name to the FCIF, 2211 East Howell Ave., Anaheim, Calif. 92806.
