Best Tile Showroom

Best Tile Distributors, part of the East Coast Tile family, the largest importer of ceramic tile and stone in the Northeast, has acquired five Boston Tile showrooms in Massachusetts and Warwick, Rhode Island. Best Tile, owned and operated by Steve Marcus and Bob Rose, will add one showroom in Warwick, with four new Massachusetts locations: Dedham, Middleton, Springfield and Shrewsbury, to 13 other Best Tile locations under the East Coast Tile umbrella.

The five new Best Tile locations will be re-branded as “Best Tile Distributors of New England,” with a concentrated focus on re-entering the commercial and wholesale dealer market. The new locations, which we will be managed by Doug Maynes, vice president of the New England region, will feature contractor specific portions dedicated to servicing the trades, and will benefit from an infusion of talented and experienced industry professionals.

Former Boston Tile district manager Jane Boynton will head all sales initiatives in Rhode Island with her husband John, who manages the Warwick location. Joining Best Tile as commercial division manager is Joe McGovern, who will oversee the re-entry into the commercial market. McGovern comes to Best Tile with 21 years of industry experience, including 12 as sales manager for United Distributors. Also joining Best Tile as the New England Wholesale Division manager is Jackie Adams, who spent the last 10 years with Dal-Tile, managing its major markets division. Adams will be asked to rejuvenate the independent retailer focused residential sector. The commercial and wholesale division personnel and inventory are located in a new Woburn, MA, facility.
