Beaulieu of America has allocated additional resources to its marketing efforts. This includes Beaulieu Residential reorganizing its marketing area to broaden the function, adding more attention to overall strategy and branding while increasing efforts in communication with customers and consumers. As a result, Mark Clayton has been promoted to the new position of executive vice president of marketing. He most recently served as the mill’s executive vice president of its Lowe’s Division. Clayton will continue to manage that division, while also heading the total marketing effort for the company. In a related move,
Mike McAllister has been appointed to the new position of vice president of marketing and will be charged with directing the development and enhancements of Beaulieu’s interactive Web site and other technological marketing and sales needs and initiatives, as well as its aligned dealer program.

BuildDirect appointed
Rob Davidson vice president of marketing. In his new role, he will be responsible for the company’s marketing worldwide. Davidson joins BuildDirect as the former managing director of Blitz Direct Vancouver, Western Canada’s fastest growing direct marketing agency.

Kronotex has added three people to help bolster the laminate mill’s sales and marketing efforts. First, Shane Carpenter is the new director of national sales. He has over 25 years of industry experience, most recently as director of marketing in the Southwest for Mohawk. In his new role, Car-penter will focus on growing the business nationally.
