DALTON—Dow Chemical is offering Foundations 875 high-performance acrylic latex for commercial carpet backing applications.

Designed for use in the pre-coat compound, the company said Foundations remains strong even during instances of high moisture penetration. It also provides delamination resistance, good tuft bind and edge ravel values, and it can be easily run on existing carpet coaters with little or no modification.
