VANCOUVER, WASH.—Ruth Travis has been elected president of the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).

Travis, who most recently served as IICRC’s first vice president, is the first woman to preside over the organization in more than 25 years. Wanda York last held the position in the mid 1970s.

Returning in new capacities are Darrell Paulson, first vice president, and Mike Reed, second vice president. Lisa Wagner is the newly elected secretary.
