Clarksville, Tenn.— Florim USA, manufacturer of porcelain tile products for residential and commercial installation, announced the appointment of Jim Dougherty to vice president of marketing. Dougherty is an industry veteran with almost 30 years of ceramic tile marketing experience. His appointment is effective immediately.

As vice president of marketing, Dougherty will lead Florim USA’s marketing and customer service initiatives, including branding strategies for both the Esquire and American Florim brands. He will also offer support to the Florim Group’s global marketing activities. Florim USA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Florim Group of Italy.

Dougherty comes to Florim USA from Crossville, where he spent more than 14 years. At Crossville, Dougherty served as vice president of sales and marketing before becoming vice president of marketing and business development. Prior to Crossville, he was involved in a distributorship in Denver, with Ricchetti/ Tarkett and with Interceramic, USA.
