Dalton— Sam Ruble has joined Thomas Industries as vice president of sales and marketing for the residential business unit. In his new position, he will be responsible for the sales and marketing efforts of Monticello Floors.

Ruble comes to Thomas with a great deal of success and experience in the flooring industry. Over the past 25 years, he has held various sales and marketing management positions with Mohawk Industries, Beaulieu of America and Shaw Industries.

Dick Bierie, president of Thomas Industries, stated, “We are very fortunate to be able to add someone with Sam’s credentials to our executive team. His expertise and knowledge will enable us to continue building a top notch management group that will lead us during our next phase of expansion.”
