West Bloomfield, Mich.—Kim Laurienzo has been named vice chairman of associates for the Floor Covering Installation Contractors Association (FCICA). She was elected to the position by associate members during the group’s convention in San Antonio, Tex.

In adition to Laurienzo, the 2006-2007 executive board includes: Christpoher Capobianco of Flooring Answers, chairman; William Becker of Becker Brothers, vice chairman; Anthony D’Antuono of Franklin Floors, secretary-treasurer, and Bill Dietrich of A.T.D., immediate past chairman. Kim Oderkirk will continue as executive vice president. Officers are elected yearly by the board of directors while the executive vice president is hired by the association to manage daily activities.

FCICA board members serve three-year rotational terms and are elceted at its annual convention by members in good standing, noted Oderkirk.

New to the board and serving until 2009 are Sim Crisler of Specialty Flooring Solutions, Gary Kloth of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Bruce Reeve of Flooring Services.

Board members who will be continuing terms which expire in 2008 are Anthony Crisalli of L&R Floors of Washington, Carl Embry of Apollo Distributing and Cathy Panagakos of Para Chem. Those continuing terms ending in 2007 are Dave Stafford , consultant; Don Styka of Johnsonite, and Gerry Swift of Potomac Floor Covering.
