Hicksville, N.Y.—At press time, FCNews learned that John Rietveldt, president of Tarkett Residential has left the hard surface manufacturer to join American Standard Companies as vice president and general manager of its European Bath & Kitchen business unit.

Rietveldt has served as president of Tarkett’s residential division for the past three years, leading the company’s worldwide sales, marketing and operational efforts from the mill’s headquarters in Paris. American Standard’s European Bath & Kitchen business unit is based in Brussels, Belgium.

Prior to joining Tarkett, Rietveldt spent eight years at Whirlpool in a number of leadership roles, including vice president of sales for Europe when he left.
