This photo was taken 25 years ago in Baltimore. For several years Carpet Fair, the specialty chain headed by Mark Helman, and the Baltimore Symphony sponsored a 10K run. Allied Fibers supported the annual event and attended along with invited guests. We generally made the trip in the Allied plane but, in 1981, we made the trip in the Allied helicopter. Shown in front of Symphony Hall are Allied’s Al Anderson, left, who sent us the picture, and Ron Roy, now retired.
