Crossville, Tenn.—At Surfaces 2006, Crossville will display its newest product, Color Blox Mosaics, a 3X3-in. porcelain stone tile that’s 1/4-in. thick, dot-mounted and saturated through and through with a choice of 20 colors.

Color Blox Mosaics is all about color: from color-infused neutrals and darks, such as silvery Slinky, bone Sand Box, bluish-black Night Night and dark lime Mr. Green Jeans, to colors like Yellow Brick Road, Limeade, A Day at the Beach blue, and Caboose red.

They are designed to coordinate with Color Blox, the company’s highly acclaimed large-unit that’s available in multiple sizes and trim pieces, as well as with multiple carpet products from Bentley Prince Street. And Crossville’s own Accent Innovations offers a full complement of glass, metal and natural stone tile, trim and borders to accent Color Blox Mosaics.

Color Blox Mosaics offers a matching 3-in. single and double bullnose, and a 3X12-in. cove base strip in all colors. To maximize its versatility, Color Blox Mosaics’ smooth, unpolished, minimalist surface texture is further softened by shade variations from tile to tile, and makes the tile easy to color-match with other finishes and furnishings, noted Jim Dougherty, vice president of marketing and business development for Crossville. “Color Blox Mosaics has no competition,” he added.
