Solignano, 26 September 2013 - Flaviker-Pi.Sa is back at Cersaie in Bologna from 23 to 27 September 2013 with a completely redesigned stand where ceramic surfaces define volumes and spaces in a constant dialogue between interior and exterior. The show is a prime opportunity to be amongst the leaders in a sector that, in spite of everything, remains creative and vital for the economy.
Alessandro Fabbri, CEO of Flaviker-Pi.Sa, commented: "We are continuing the process of innovation that we successfully began a few years ago and at Cersaie will be unveiling an utterly new creative project based on a workshop open to young architects and designers. We will be focusing in particular on designers and professionals and consolidating the brand's orientation within the ABK Group".
Portland 325, a free interpretation of restored industrial plaster developed in cooperation with Cesena-based firm Studio Archdesign, and Dakota, a wood-effect tile imbued with charm and a pioneering spirit, are the projects that herald next season's trends.
Cityline and Forward, the new complete collections showcased at Cersaie 2013, go beyond the mere reproduction of natural materials and instead reinterpret each individual element through the filter of cutting-edge technology. By drawing inspiration from a range of different materials to create highly eclectic products, these collections offer architects enormous creative freedom.
The inimitable and varied Cityline collection brings unique and original qualities to any project. Based on observations of iron sheets, the project brings together different contemporary surfaces. The linear graphic appearance emulates a variety of elements such as brushstrokes, unique marble veins and the chemical markings left by corrosion. The collection also features mosaics and decorative inserts, creating a sophisticated yet essential moodboard that fully meets the needs of contemporary architecture.
CITYLINEFar from a mere imitation, Cityline is a new ceramic tile collection that is as varied as today’s cities. Intended as a tool to give designers complete freedom of creativity, it conveys new and personal sensations.
Based on detailed observations of iron sheets that have not yet been stabilised by the chemical
processes adopted in industrial production, the project brings together different contemporary
surfaces in a sophisticated colour palette.
The linear, almost “diluted” graphic appearance of Cityline creates metallic haloes and tones
that are transformed into a variety of elements capable of emulating brushstrokes, unique
marble veins or the chemical markings left by corrosion.
The eclectic, cutting-edge Cityline collection comes in 5 colours (white, silver, dark grey, bone
and rust) and 80x80 cm, 40x80 cm, 20x80 cm, 60x60 cm and 30x60 cm sizes. It is available in
honed and natural versions with either a soft satin or a glossy reflecting surface.
The Cityline collection also features mosaics and decor inserts capable of transforming a
simple texture into a sophisticated yet essential moodboard that fully meets the needs of
contemporary architecture.

As the name suggests, progress and movement are the concepts underpinning the Forward collection. Inspired by quartzite and slate, the collection captures the essence of these materials, meticulously re-elaborating them to create a pleasing harmony of colours and visual combinations. The result is a diverse and distinctive collection ideal for use in a multitude of living spaces including modern residential, commercial and outdoor applications.
FORWARD by NatureThe Forward collection from Flaviker Pi.Sa enables designers to enhance living spaces with
flexibility and diversity. Rather than merely reproducing natural materials, Forward uses cuttingedge technology to reinterpret their aesthetic qualities and create a comprehensive and highly versatile design collection.
Forward marks the culmination of a creative process that began by observing various types of
stone, in particular quartzite and multicoloured slate, and then captured and re-elaborated their
essence by blending multiple photos. The result is a harmonious visual and colour combination
in which the stratifications of certain types of stone are enhanced by crystalline effects typical of other minerals.
The Forward collection is ideal for use in a multitude of living spaces, including modern
residential, commercial, bathroom and wellness areas, and with special attention to outdoor
applications. In a free play of creativity, Forward uses 8 sizes (40x80 cm, 20x80 cm, 60x60 cm, 30x60 cm, 15x60 cm, 10x60 cm, 5x60 cm and 30x30 cm mosaic) and allows for multiple
installation solutions for floors and walls, including combinations of the four different colours (sand, earth, grey, black). Added to this it offers a choice of different surface finishes: the natural sensation and satin appeal of stone or the honed version with unexpected iridescent
effects.
Forward is also aimed at the construction sector with versions designed for use on exterior
pavings. It comes in two non-slip versions: 30x60 cm with a natural edge (thickness 10 mm) for
conventional installation; and a new 40x80 cm rectified version with extra-large 20 mm
thickness, also suitable for raised floors and for dry installation on gravel, grass and sand.
