Student athletes at a Pennsylvania High School are following in the footsteps of Olympian, Usain Bolt. Bolt sets world records on Regupol tracks and now athletes at Lancaster Mennonite High School (LMHS) will experience the same high-performance surface. When Athletic Director, Mike Yoder, updated the school’s running track in 2009, Regupol SB in Dash Black was originally installed. Three years later, after extensive fundraising efforts, a new track was installed using Regupol AG in Relay Red.

“One of the primary reasons for choosing Regupol for both installations is their well respected reputation for high caliber tracks,” said Yoder. “Not only were we proud to support a local company, but we are confident in the investment knowing Regupol tracks have outstanding quality and a long lifespan.”

The 53,000 square feet of Regupol AG was installed at LMHS in August 2012, and has had positive reviews thus far from the students and staff. “The students are pleased with the improved feel of the new track, and we are thrilled to provide a safer surface due to the cushion and uniformity of Regupol tracks,” said Yoder.

Regupol AG is ½” thick pre-manufactured recycled SBR rubber granules and polyurethane binder base mat adhered to asphalt base layer to provide comfort and durability. With years of perfection and Regupol being the inventors of the technology, the tracks continue to serve the athletes well. Some installations have been around for 20 years and still perform like day one.

With over 1,000 tracks installed worldwide, Regupol is pleased to have a neighboring school district as home to one of their tracks.
