Aaronson Joins FCNews

Hicksville, N.Y.—Floor Covering News has announced that Dustin Aaronson has joined the publication as national sales manager. For the past two years, Aaronson, 28, was the classified ad manager for Floor Covering Weekly, during which time he increased sales approximately 50%. At FCNews, Aaronson’s responsibilities include not only being in charge of classifieds, but display advertising, promotions and special programs. His primary duties will be to develop new business and continue managing existing accounts. This also includes further developing the publication’s Web site, www.floorcoveringnews.net.

Mike Blick, FCNews’ publisher and vice president, said, because of Aaronson’s successful track record and ability to give clients the kind of service they deserve, he will handle all aspects of the publication’s sales and promotional activities. “Dustin brings a wealth of experience and is the kind of person we need to continue to grow and prosper. His energy and talents make a formidable combination and we are happy to have him working for us.” Aaronson has more than 10 years of sales experience.

Prior to being at the Weekly, Aaronson was a sales representative for a local newspaper on Long Island where he is a lifetime resident. “Floor Covering News has been covering the flooring industry for nearly 20 years,” he said, “and during this time it has built a reputation for being honest, accurate and trustworthy and providing its readers and advertisers with pertinent and relevant information. “I look forward to building on these strengths, and enhancing an already stellar reputation. My goals are to expand the classified section as well as the display ads, increase circulation and create new relationships.”
